Mixed Media, Painting Emma Wright unexpectedly began her painting career after redundancy from the graphic design industry. Her enjoyment and satisfaction from the painting process led to her first exhibition. This has been followed by a number of solo exhibitions in Wellington and Queenstown. Wright is represented by galleries in Havelock North, Wellington and Martinborough. She is now painting fulltime and has work in private and corporate collections in New Zealand and overseas. Wright's paintings are colourful and textural. The literary elements in her paintings act as an encouragment and inspiration to the viewer to follow their dreams.
