Bill MacCormick
Bill MacCormick was born in 1942 and has been painting since the late 1950?s. His early work was influenced by the landscape of the explorer artists of nineteenth century New Zealand and the feeling for light of the impressionists. His own feeling for the landscapes and buildings of New Zealand comes through in his watercolours and oil paintings. One of MacCormick's well known paintings of a dairy in Freemans Bay, Auckland has become such a landmark that the current building owners have restored and preserved the building and the old style advertising on the building. In recent years MacCormick has reproduced a large number of his paintings to make these iconic images more easily accessible to the New Zealand public. There are no products matching the selection.
