Lynsie Austin has focused her practice on the exploration of process and materials. Processes such as stacking, folding, layering, submerging, staining, dripping, smearing, scratching and erasing all interest her as do a diverse range of non-traditional materials. Don't be surprised to find bitumen and paving paint lining up in Lynsie's paintings with the subtle shades of house or artists acrylic creating aesthetic but also challenging contemporary artworks.
