Fiona Whyte

Fiona Whyte attended Elam Art School in 1978. She works in a multitude of disciplines from sculptures to paintings and also makes jewellery. Her subject matter in her paintings and drawings consists of colourful city panoramas, and she includes well known Auckland landmarks such as Rangitoto island, the Sky Tower and the villas of Ponsonby. She works with oil and acrylic on canvas and has an interesting mix of acrylic, oil pastel and ink wash for her works on paper. Her work has been exhibited in group and solo exhibitions since 1984 to present and is included in many collections through out New Zealand.
